Based on the demands of the customer, Adler supplies chemical products used at the various stages of the tanning process and prepares complete, customised recipes for the creation of particular items.
The procedure generally starts from the arrival of the finished product, the processed leather and the raw or semi-tanned hide for working with. Adler technicians perform a detailed analysis of the finished item, identify the chemicals to be used at all stages of the tanning process and verify the successful completion of the project in the laboratory. If the finished product has all the characteristics of the initial product and obtains the approval of the customer, the recipe is put into production and delivered to the tannery.
Upon request, Adler professionals can provide their experience and skills honed over the years on the customer’s own premises, thus offering a more carefully tailored consulting service by assisting with one particular stage, or all the stages, in the tanning process. In this case, the process begins with a detailed study of the tannery (equipment available, personnel involved and type of water used) and the item to be produced. Technicians analyse all the steps of the process and the problems that might arise at each stage, providing advice on the most suitable method to adopt and the products to use for carrying out the particular process on the item.
